One sunny day we decided to spend the day at Aqualand, an aquapark in Vasto, a city about 1 hour away from where we lived. It is a amazing park, with 9 slides, a lake and a pool, not to mention a water massage place. We came and I immediately went to the 4 slides. There were 4 colors: blue, yellow, white and red. B and Y were slow and relaxing, while W and R: well, (I could put it this way) exactly the opposite. I liked the red one most. You start slow, yes, yes, very relaxing, when suddenly there is a steep drop and you zoom around for a few seconds before being tossed to the end. It is really fun.
The next slide we went on was the big blue mega-drop (I call it that way). It is a big blue slide that 6 people can go on at the same time. You get on the starting point and zoom forward for about 5 seconds before splashing into the ending point. Sometimes I went with Cristina, Veronica and Nastia, and sometimes the girls went by themselves and I went with Dad and Doriano, the girls’ dad. This slide is more awesome that the red slide!
The lake has a pretty fast current and Evan probably went in it 20 times. But inside the lake there is a pool that every 20-30 minutes has big waves. It is better that the lake.
I also went on Kamikaze with Doriano, a white slide that is VERY fast and I nearly could not go on. It is technically two steep drops and spaces in between. It is less fun then the red slide, but still, very fun!
There was also a slide called Twister that I did not go on but Dad and Mom went on, and they said that it is good so if I ever come back here, I’ll go on it.
In the middle of when we were there, the girls’ friends came, so it became even more fun being there. We also ate ice cream and panini (a type of Italian sandwich).
It was one of the best days we had with the Ricchiuti family!
