My Mom’s best friend, Diana, lives in Abruzzo, Italy. She and my Mom have known each other for a long time. Diana has a husband, Doriano, who is very cool, and three girls, Anastasia, Veronica, and Cristina. They came to visit Minsk while we were there, which was so great. We agreed to meet in the waterpark. It was so nice to finally see them after talking on skype so much and seeing pictures! They were great. We went on all the slides. My favorite was a slide that went so rapidly down that it had enough momentum to go back up and down again. I went on it two times, once with Veronica and once with dad. There was also a grey slide. That slide was even crazier. I could go only one time, because the lifeguard wouldn’t let me. It was way fun. My Mom went with Anastasia on it, and they were screaming!!! Veronica and I were laughing really hard… We laughed a lot because the girls were so much fun and we became friends immediately. Evan loved the pool a lot and all of the three girls. There was also a room with fountains and a pool. We liked it a lot. You needed to swim through the pool to get to the fountains. We had the best day and didn’t want to part. We agreed to go to the Gorky Park in a few days and spend some more time together.

We met in the park and it was immediately a lot of fun. We walked, took pictures, and went on rides. The girls and I went on a trampoline that makes you jump very high and do flips. We also went on a crazy speedy roller coaster. It was so fun! Then we decided to take a catamaran and go all over the river. We ended up taking three because there were so many of us. I went with Dad, Evan, and Anastasia. I wanted to pedal and Anastasia made sure that Evan doesn’t fall out of the catamaran because nobody was buckled up! We had a race with Doriano, Veronica and Cristina as well as Mom and Diana. It was the best fun. We also had dinner together. It was really sad to say good bye. I cannot wait to see them again.
