Today we went to the air show. It was a sunny day and when we were parking we saw helicopters flying around. It looked nice. We came out of the car and went to look at the exhibit of planes and helicopters. There was a place where you could see Yuri Gagarin’s space capsule. It was so stuffed in there!

I secretly went on the wing of a plane, and took a selfie with my phone (yep, I have a phone). It turned out nice, but some guard spotted me and told me to get off the wing of     the plane. I also got into the cabin of a helicopter. That was allowed, and the view was nice.

Then the air show started. Music played while three helicopters “danced” around in the sky, competing. The second helicopter won, both in my opinion and the judge’s opinion. Then airplanes depicted what a war in the air would be like. Finally one fake-shot the other, and one fake-crash landed in the forest nearby. The one that crash landed went on to the show field and did a few inside loops. It was amazing.

We got some popcorn and ate it on the way to the car. It was pretty amazing. I wonder how many times more I will go to an air show……?
