Mom’s Birthday, and Our Last Day in Singapore

Category : Travel

Me, Dad, and Evan woke up, knowing that it was Mom’s birthday. We waited for Mom to wake up, and gave her our presents. After that, we set out to celebrate Mom’s birthday and our last day in Singapore by going to Marina Bay.

When we came to Marina Bay, we went to the great food court inside the mall. We all ate our favorite meals. It was very delicious. After lunch, we made our way to Mom’s birthday wish: the Skyway in Gardens by the Bay. The Skyway is a bridge between structures called Supertrees that are covered with flowers. The Supertrees light up at night. We (Mom, most of all) had been wanting to go on the bridge since the last time we came to Singapore. Well, now, on Mom’s birthday, we were going! We got the tickets and went into the line of people, which had 0 people in it. We took the elevator to the top of the tower and the bridge and stepped out. The view was beautiful! You could see everything! We loved it!

We got off the Supertrees and the Skyway and took the MRT (metro) home. Our friends came to our house to wish Mom a happy birthday, and say goodbye for the last time. We ate a cake – a very delicious one! When they left, we went over to our other friends’ house for dinner. We made some slime – and ate one more cake. Oh, awesome! We said our final goodbye, and went home. It was a really good last day in Singapore (and birthday, in my opinion). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!
