First Day In Ladispoli

Category : Travel

When we flew in to Fiumicino Aeroporto in Rome, it was a bright, sunny morning. We came out quickly and drove to Ladispoli (a suburb of Rome). We lived very close to the sea. We ate breakfast, and went out to walk around. We ate delicious Italian croissants. They weren’t called croissants, though😂. Rather, they were called cornetti.

We went to the sea and walked around. We remembered the last time we were here: there was black sand, and VERY cold water. Even I (mostly resistant to crazy temperatures) could only stand on my tiptoes for a few seconds! We went on to the rocks (we love climbing on rocks) and found out that the Ladispoli Rocks hold a colony of crabs. Why didn’t we take our equipment??!?!!?! We also ate some delicious gelato. Gelato is Italian ice cream, but it’s better than ice cream. It tastes SO GOOD!

Our first day in Ladispoli was wonderful. I hope we have more days like this!
