December 18th is my birthday so we decided to celebrate by going to Hong Kong Disneyland, the newest Disneyland in the world.

We took the train there. First we went to Toy Story World. We went on to the RC Racer, a car that drives on a giant horseshoe. You get on to the car and it goes to the top of the horseshoe, and then it goes down at such a speed that it goes up to the other end of the horseshoe….. and does that again….. and again….. and again until it has done that 10 times (4 of them are smaller). You feel like you are falling. It is great! After that we went to see a movie. It was called Philharmonic Magic. It was nice. It was about Donald Duck misusing Mickey’s magic hat.

We finished and we went to see the parade. There was everyone. Lilo, Stitch, Woody, and Beauty and the Beast (just to name a few). It was a lot of fun. Then we went to Small World. It is a boat ride through a castle. There are dolls from different countries that sing the same song in their home languages. For example, dolls from USA sing in English, Italian dolls sing in Italian, etc. Evan loved this ride a lot.

When we finished the ride we went on the jungle river cruise. It is a boat that takes you through the jungle. There are hippos, zebras, giraffes (everything) everywhere. We are going, going….. and then a giant geyser erupts right in front of us. We swerve to the left and fire erupts above the water, water pours out of a rock and a thick mist covers the area. It was scary. When we got off the boat we went to Star Wars Tommorowland. First we went on to the Orbiter. You fly a flying saucer around a planet. After that we went onto Hyperspace Mountain (with my mom). It is a roller coaster that goes into hyperspace (hyperspace is not a real thing). In the start of the ride it gives you the feel of a closed box (you can’t see anything, it’s so dark). First you go up a mountain ant then you think that you will go down the down the mountain at full speed but you go slowly around in spirals. It’s even kind of comforting……… and then you go at full speed forward. You turn onto the side, and there are enemy ships shooting at you. You turn back and you go down, up, around a corner and it repeats the same thing again…. and again…. and again… and then, finally (!) your ride is over. I also went a second time with my dad. We stayed long to see the night parade and then the fireworks.

Today was great. It was a day I will never forget.
