Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE

Category : Travel

This trip opens up our journey to the countries we’ve never been before. We arrived at Abu Dhabi Airport very late. Our apartment was on Al Reem Island. When we came to the apartment, we ate and agreed that we are going to go to Dubai to see Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. We woke up next morning, ate breakfast, got our camera, and set off.

First, we went to Dubai Mall, the biggest mall in the world. We walked around, ate, went to the mall aquarium, and in the evening, we went outside to see Burj Khalifa and the Singing Fountains. Burj Khalifa looked very good, since once in a while it would have a light show on the windows! The Singing Fountains were fountains that moved under music. It was beautiful! We rode to our apartment and fell asleep. The next day we went to the grand mosque. It is the biggest mosque in the UAE and is a holy place for muslims and a attraction for tourists. It has 80 domes. We needed to take off our shoes as we went in. Mom needed to wear a special black outfit that covers head, shoulders, wrists and ankles. We tried to count the domes, we looked at the potentially most expensive chandeliers because it is made of Swarovski glass, a glass that sparkles more than diamonds, and walked on the longest carpet in the world. The mosque was very big. I saw the prayer room. It was very beautiful.

Our apartment was called the Gate Towers. It was very nice and big. It had a gym, Two pools and a beach. There was also a building called the Arc Tower. It also had a pool and a playground. Every day we would go to the pool and swim for two hours or less. Fact: UAE has the most man-made islands in the world. Many rich people live there so they have the money to pay for many world records.

It was great. I cannot wait to go back.
