Hello Again, Singapore!

Category : Travel

We flew in from Minsk, arriving in the morning, but still jet-lagged. The weather exceeded our expectations, being 31 degrees Celsius and very sunny. But the thing we wanted to know about most was the place we were going to stay – The Trizon. The owner of the condo showed us the place, and it was very nice! We have giant windows that stretched out across the whole apartment, a natural reserve with monkeys close by, and even a bomb shelter (why?)! But my favorite part about it was that there is a TON of pools. We can only swim in three of them, but one of them was an Olympic-sized pool. There are also two playgrounds that Evan liked, so everybody was happy.

We love swimming in the pools. We swim every single day. But one day, we met a Dutch-Russian family swimming around, and we met, made friends, and had lots of fun. Now we meet almost every time we are in the pool.

One of the first things we did was to go to the place we stayed last time we were in Singapore – Marina Bay. It is even better than the last time we saw it. It has an amusement park next to the mall now! We didn’t go there, because that was not our goal. Our goal was to go to the flowers in Gardens By The Bay. They light up at night, and we wanted to go on them at night because it would be nicer, but instead we decided to go and see the mist and water shows at the docks. It was very nice.

We get to stay up until 11 o’clock because of the show. The day was awesome, and everybody was very happy because of the shows. We fell asleep with good dreams.

It was a great start. I hope we have more days like this in Singapore.
