MY Legoland

Category : Travel

Do you know about LEGO? I think you should, because it is the largest kids’ toy company in the world. Evan and I really like LEGO, and because Singapore borders Malaysia and Malaysia has a Legoland, Mom, Dad, Evan and I went to LEGOLAND!!!

We came to Legoland in the morning. It was still closed, but as soon as we got our tickets, it opened. There were lego people made out of lego, human people dressed up as lego people, and other things, all LEGO. There were a lot of rides, but we had our eyes on one: Lego Ninjago: The Ride. Our favorite type of lego is Ninjago, so we set of immediately. We went through Miniland first. Miniland is Asia, but built with bricks. It had the Taj Mahal, Petronas Towers, Singapore Flyer and so many more!

After Miniland, we went through Imagination Land. In Imagination Land, there are lego workshops, items, and animals made out of lego. We saw a place where you can build and test cars. There was also a funny rabbit holding a chainsaw, and giraffes with shoes on getting ready to play soccer. There were instruments making sounds and spraying water and lego people holding a hose and shouting at each other. It’s pretty cool that everything is made out of lego in Legoland! Well, not the rides, buildings and floor, but other than that, everything is made out of lego.

We finally got to the Ninjago Ride. We saw the 6 Ninjas and their Sensei: Sensei Wu, Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, and Nya. They each have an elemental power. For example, Kai has Fire and Cole has Earth. We spun on Kai’s Spinners, climbed Cole’s Rock Wall and looked at Lloyd, Jay, Nya and Zane training and building. Then we went in the ride. The first thing we saw were the Elemental Blades, illuminated with light and also made out of lego. We stood in a pose that made us look like we were holding the blades. Next, we played a Kinect game on the Xbox that made us look like water droplets, courtesy of Nya, the master of water. We went through another couple of rooms, put on our 3d glasses, got into the car, and away we went. We had to shoot elemental balls at the bad ninjas and other bad people and monsters. We really liked it, and went many times!

We got off the ride and went into the Land of Adventure. Our favorite ride there was a shooting game that involved shooting lasers and getting points (kind of like Ninjago). Dad WRECKED us all, with about 25, 000 points more that us. And Evan, Mom, and I tried really hard both times we went on the ride, but it did not help at all! Dad still destroyed us. I wonder how he could get so many points… Maybe he just has quick fingers and sharp eyes!

We went into Lego City next. Lego City is… DUN DUN DUNNNNN… a lego city! There is an airport, a fire station, a theater, and a train station. We went on the airport ride and on the fire station. In the fire station ride, we were supposed to drive a fire truck and put out a fire, then drive back. We actually had to use one of those seesaw things to drive the truck and use the fire hose. It was very tiring, but very fun. We also took the lego express to look around Legoland. We saw Star Wars, Driving Academy and, of course, Miniland. It was really fun. When we came to the station, we went to Driving Academy. It is also in the lego city. You get in a lego car and drive all around a designated course. Both Evan and I tried, though I barely fit into the car. It was still pretty fun.

We came out of Lego City, passed by Albert Einstein’s face made out of Lego and Star Wars, and went to Lego Kingdoms. The best ride we went on was Dragon’s Apprentice. It is a fast roller coaster. Mom and Evan didn’t go, but Dad and I did, and I was grateful for that. It went so fast, and when I came out, I said to Dad that it was a great accomplishment not to have thrown up. We laughed about it, but didn’t go again because it started raining really hard, and all the outdoor rides closed. There we saw a small version of the Lego Movie, which was pretty good.

We went back to the Lego City Theater and watched a very good Ninjago puppet show. Just awesome. It looked extremely real, we almost couldn’t see the puppeteers!

And that was the end of our visit to Legoland. To this day, we still want to go again!
