First Full Day In Malaga

Category : Travel

When we landed on the plane from Belgium, it was a sunny afternoon in Malaga, Spain. We got our luggage out of the airport and into our house, and went to the beach. We stayed there for a while, ate dinner, had ice cream, dad left for London (sad:( ), and we went to sleep.

The next day, when we woke up, the sun was shining. The temperature was 30℃, and we were ready to spend an entire day lying on the beach, playing with the sand and swimming in the water. We quickly ate, packed up, got in our swimsuits, and walked to the beach.

We lived on the boardwalk, so the beach was extremely close. We set up camp near the water, but far enough so that the water didn’t soak our stuff. When I went to test the water for the first time, I put my foot inside the water. It was really cold! I didn’t really care, though; I would still get in if I wanted,

I called Dad, Mom and Evan over to test the water, saying that it was very warm. When Dad and Evan touched the water, they didn’t show much. When Mom stepped up, she touched the water and immediately ran back to our place. Laughing, I walked into the water, with Dad and Evan close behind.

We swam around for a while. Even Mom came in for a short time! We came out, dug some sand tunnels and sand castles and sand pools, and then repeated the cycle many more times – water, sand, water, sand, with stops for lunch, ice cream, and eventually dinner.

It was a great first day in Malaga. I hope we have many more days like this.
