Blue Mountains

Category : Travel

One day our best friend Sagar (mom’s colleague) took us to Blue Mountains National Park. Jane, Holly, and Sophie couldn’t come so Sagar, Zack, Levy and my family went. When we came we went on a cable car across the Jamison Valley. We saw the Three Sisters, three big rocks that were named with Aboriginal names. Then we went on the steepest passenger railway in the world. The incline is 45-52 degrees and we were sitting almost upright. When we came to the bottom, we walked through the forest. We got a little bit lost. It was so much fun. We saw a miner’s cabin. We also saw a lot of Eucalyptus trees. Koalas live on gum trees but we didn’t see them. Then we went on a cable car back up. When we got off we needed to get across the Jamison valley but the cables didn’t work, so we needed to walk. We got to walk across the Katoomba Waterfall by stepping stones. The sunset was beautiful because the colors were really amazing. The mountains were blue and pink and purple. We had a great time with my friends. I will miss having them around when we leave Australia.

It was great.
